Thank you for your interest in serving with Maker Girls by Design. Tell us how you'd like to be involved and we'll follow up with you.

Maker Girls serves girls in grades 4–8, with groups for 4th–6th grade and 7th–8th grade.

The form adapts to what you pick — you'll only be asked what's relevant to your roles. Most people finish in under 10 minutes.

2 — How you'd like to serve

Pick a category, then choose the roles that interest you. You can select more than one, and you can choose across categories. Click the i beside any role for a description.

3 — Availability
Recurring roles require weekly availability on Mondays. Event and behind-the-scenes opportunities are scheduled as needed.
Maker Girls runs from September through December and January through May.
Travel, work schedule, weeks you'll be away.
4 — Skills and interests
Sewing, crochet, music, cooking, photography, budgeting, Bible study, sports, art — anything.
5 — Church and faith

7 — Screening and agreements

Because our volunteers work with children, everyone serving on site completes these steps. It protects the girls in our care and the adults who serve them.

Maker Girls by Design conducts a criminal background check on every volunteer aged 18 or older who serves on site.

Photography at Maker Girls follows a strict policy. Photos of girls may only be taken and shared where a signed media release is on file.

Volunteers sometimes learn sensitive things about the girls and their families.
